Re-roof of the Toowong Bus Depots Natural Gas Refueling Garage and the installation of a 100 kilowatt solar system to reduce the adjacent work shops green house emissions. The works consisted of 1600m2 of new Stramit Speed Deck Colorbond roof, including 60mm thick anticon glasswool insulation and some structural repairs to the roof framing. The 100 kilowatt solar system consisted of 332 LG 300 watt solar panels being controlled by two ABB 50kw inverter’s, coupled with electronic monitoring to keep any eye on the solar out put. The $590,000 project will mean a cleaner greener future for the Toowong Bus Depot.
