Re-roof of the Carina Bus Depots Maintenance Garage and the installation of a 100 kilowatt solar system. The works consisted of 3300m2 of new Stramit Speed Deck Colorbond roof, including 60mm thick anticon glasswool insulation and structural repairs to the roof framing. The 100 kilowatt solar system consisted of 300 LG Neon 330W Solar Modules with Solaredge 27.6kW Inverters coupled with electronic monitoring.
During this time a Refurbishment of the Carina Bus Depot Admin Building took place. Works where completed in multiple stages and the depot remained operational throughout the project. Temporary facilities and builder access were provided to minimise disruption. Works comprised of internal bathroom and kitchen upgrades as well an outdoor staff area. The external façade featured perforated metal screens with back lighting.
